Preschool Teacher – Kindergarten Readiness Classroom.
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our Kindergarten Readiness classroom!
This is a part-time position with a minimum of 30-35 hours per week, with the potential to become full-time for the right candidate.
The teacher will join an established classroom team as a Co-Teacher, working alongside the Lead Teacher. Our Co-Teacher will help support the daily classroom environment and share in the responsibilities that help our children learn, grow, and prepare for kindergarten.
Preschool experience is a MUST!
Responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with the Lead Teacher to support daily classroom activities
- Assisting with kindergarten-readiness lessons, activities, and learning experiences
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and academic development
- Helping maintain a positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Assisting with classroom routines, transitions, meals, nap/rest, and daily care
- Helping with classroom organization, preparation, and cleaning
- Supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children
- Communicating and working cooperatively with classroom staff and administration
