Summary
Alendel Fabrics is seeking a driven Sales Representative to build and grow the Carolinas territory for our Home Décor business. This is an Independent Contractor role focused on new account development, expansion of designer and showroom relationships, and consistent territory activity. This opportunity is best suited for an established independent multi line sales representative or sales agent currently representing complementary product lines within the Home Décor and interior design trade. Travel across North and South Carolina is required, with regular presence around High Point and key markets.
What you will do
Prospect, open, and nurture accounts across interior designers, decorators, workrooms, and Home Décor focused showrooms and trade channels
What you bring
- 3 years of B2B sales in home décor, textiles, decorative fabrics, or interior design related product categories (experience primarily in furniture manufacturing or retail furniture sales alone will be less aligned)
- Established network with interior designers, decorators, showrooms, and workrooms is a strong asset
- Hunter mindset, self-management, and disciplined follow through
- Clear written and verbal communication; strong negotiation and closing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
- Valid driver license and reliable vehicle
- Residence within North or South Carolina, with ability to travel across the territory
- Experience operating as an independent sales representative, contractor, or managing multiple product lines is strongly preferred

Territory
North and South Carolina, with frequent travel. High Point proximity is an asset.
