We are seeking a Senior Accountant in our Tax practice who is ready to build strong client relationships, provide proactive tax and advisory services, mentor developing staff, and continue growing toward manager-level responsibilities.

About the Role
This role is ideal for a public accounting professional with tax experience who is ready to take on increasing responsibility in client service, engagement execution, staff development, and proactive tax planning. The Senior Accountant will provide tax compliance, financial reporting, and advisory support while managing multiple engagements and deadlines.
As a Senior Accountant, You Can Expect To:
· Prepare and review individual, business, and related tax returns with attention to accuracy, completeness, and client-ready presentation.
· Work with privately held businesses, owners, and individuals on tax compliance, planning, and advisory projects.
· Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide strategic insight.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering excellent client service.
· Identify tax planning opportunities and communicate recommendations to managers and partners.
· Participate in financial reporting and compliance engagements as needed.
· Schedule, delegate, and review staff work to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality standards.
· Supervise, mentor, and train staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
· Manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced public accounting environment.

Technical and Professional Skills
· Strong understanding of individual and business tax compliance concepts.
· Ability to research tax and accounting questions and apply guidance to client situations.
· Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and financial analysis skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
· Ability to develop proficiency in specialized tax, accounting, and workflow management software.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
· CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam required.
· Two or more years of public accounting experience preferred.
· Two or more years of tax experience, including individual and business returns, preferred.
