OB/GYN ER RN | L&D / Triage Nurse | 12 Hour Days | 15 Week Contract
We are hiring an experienced OB/GYN Emergency / Triage Registered Nurse (RN) for a 15 week contract in a fast paced acute care setting. This role is ideal for nurses with strong Labor & Delivery or OB/GYN experience who are comfortable in a triage or OB ER environment.
Schedule:
- 12 hour day shifts
- 3 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next
- 36/48 hours rotating biweekly
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- No call
OB/GYN ER RN Responsibilities:
- Provide care in a 10 bed OB/GYN emergency and triage unit
- Assess and triage OB, GYN, L&D, and women’s health patients
- Maintain a 1:3 nurse to patient ratio
- Monitor fetal status and respond to emergent situations
- Administer medications and treatments
- Document in EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- Minimum 2 years of L&D or OB/GYN experience REQUIRED
- ER or triage experience preferred
- Must be EPIC proficient (no training provided)
- BLS, ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required
Assignment Details:
- Acute care hospital setting
- 10 bed triage unit
- Female patient population including OB, GYN, and related conditions
- Local candidates accepted (50 mile radius rule, reduced rate may apply)
Pay and Benefits:
- $2,100 to $2,200 gross weekly
- Equivalent to approximately $58 to $62 per hour
- 15 week contract with potential extension
