Student Teacher Applications
Thank you for choosing Aledo ISD for your clinical/internship student teaching Fall 2026 placement.
University students or Alternative Certification Program (ACP) candidates eligible for student/clinical teaching must complete this application.
Please remember that placements are limited due to space and availability, but we will work diligently to notify applicants of availability.
Instructions:
1) Complete and submit this application; List 3 professional references within your application and push-out the electronic surveys. 2 satisfactory references must be returned in order to be approved.
2) Upload a letter of recommendation from your University/Program indicating the subject/grade area of required observation and number of hours needed. Upload this document in your application file as: "Program Letter".
3) Complete an online Volunteer Background check through our system at this link: Background Check
Once these steps are completed, you will receive notification from our Human Resources office further instructions, such as fingerprints process, approval, and placement options.
All Clinical/Internship students must complete a fingerprints credentialing clearance thru TEA.
This is not the application for the FALL 2026 classroom observation hours.
