Locally owned junk removal company in the Utica area is looking for reliable crew members for per-job contract work. This is 1099 independent contractor work: we offer you jobs as they come up, and you accept or decline each one. No set schedule.
What the work is: loading furniture, appliances, and household junk onto trailers with a 2-person crew. Jobs run all over Oneida County (Utica, Rome, New Hartford, Whitesboro and nearby towns).
Pay: $20/hr with a 2-hour minimum per job, paid per job. Most jobs run 2 to 4 hours.
What you need:
- 18 or older
- Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and handle physical work
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- A working phone you actually answer
- Comfortable being friendly and professional around customers
Good fit for college students, anyone building a flexible side income, or anyone who likes real physical work without a fixed schedule.
