This position is part of the Shipping/Receiving and Distribution department located in Fargo, ND and will be onsite. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Shipping/Receiving and Distribution team and report to the Shipping Manager.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Complete foreign and domestic waybills, as required.
Assure materials and shipments conform to import/export requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Communicate with internal departments to plan shipments.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years' experience in a logistics role preferred
Working knowledge of inventory software systems (D365), and knowledge of excel to intermediate level, and Smartsheet.
Experience packaging, storing and handling sensitive products.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
International shipping documents
Technical writing skills
