Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC components.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic issues related to electrical systems
• Perform residential painting, drywall repairs, carpentry, and other general repairs to maintain property aesthetics and safety standards.
• Assist with facilities maintenance projects such as installing new equipment or upgrading existing systems following schematics and technical manuals.
• Supervise or coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or large-scale projects when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to resident maintenance requests and communicating clearly about repair timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and local regulations during all maintenance activities.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities or residential maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, mechanical systems, or plumbing.
• Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and the use of tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, team members, vendors, and management.
