What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auction Cataloger position at Alderfer Auction?
Estate Sales team Responsibilities:
- Sort & Prepare Inventory: Work with incoming collections by organizing, grouping, and measuring items into organized lots.
- Photograph Products: Capture high-quality images of grouped and individual items using company-provided iPads.
- Create Online Listings: Write brief, accurate descriptions and details for the items
- Assist with Offsite Pickups (Loadout): Help pack, load, and transport items from offsite locations back to the main auction facility.
- Travel with the Team: Ride along with the team in company vehicles to offsite locations 2 to 3 days per week (or as needed).
- Inhouse processing as needed.
Physical and General Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend and move for extended periods of time. Able to lift and move a minimum of 25lbs regularly. Comfortable working in both estate and warehouse settings.
Ability to work productively within a team environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
