Alder Home Craft LLC is a trusted General Contractor specializing in home reconstruction and remodels for over 10 years. We're looking for a detail-oriented Desk Estimator to join our team and play a key role in helping homeowners navigate the restoration process with confidence.
The Role
As a Desk Estimator, you'll work closely with our team and clients to build accurate, thorough project estimates from our Lehi, UT office. This is a full-time, in-person position with consistent, stable hours, no nights or weekends.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Prepare and compile accurate cost estimates for reconstruction and remodel projects
- Collaborate with project managers and customers to ensure estimates reflect true scope and cost
- Work with project managers on supplements and change orders for proper repair scopes
- Maintain organized documentation and support smooth project handoffs
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance representatives, and internal staff
What We're Looking For
- Some background in construction or a related field
- Familiarity with Excel or similar tools
- Experience with Xactimate or other estimating software is a huge plus
- Knowledge of homeowner insurance claims processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A team player with good communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $45,000 – $65,000/year, depending on experience
- Performance-based bonuses available after a 90-day probationary period
