What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Alden Medical Group?
The Medical Assistant will work directly under supervision of the MD and/or RN to coordinate care for the patient. This position is in the clinical aspect with direct patient contact. Working directly with the physician and using the EMR to document. Duties may also include performing venipunctures, EKG’s, PFT’s, UA’s, and vitals.
-Needs to be proficient in computer skills for proper documentation
-Medical terminology a plus
-Phone skills to coordinate care with other providers or facilities
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Strong team player yet works well independently
-Dependable and outgoing
Experience a plus but willing to train
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.51 - $21.09 per hour
