Role Description

The Shop Fabricator is a full-time, on-site position located in Winston, GA. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components in accordance with design specifications. Tasks include interpreting technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, welding and assembling components, and performing quality checks to ensure alignment with project standards. The Shop Fabricator will also maintain tools and equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly techniques
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Proficiency in operating fabrication equipment, such as grinders, saws, shears, and welding machines
• Knowledge of maintaining safety standards in an industrial and fabrication environment
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork capabilities
• Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage workload
• Physical ability to handle tools, heavy materials, and extended periods of standing
• Prior experience in metalworking, fabrication, or a similar role is preferred
