Coordinator, Scholarship Project
Essential Job Functions
- Works actively with CAAS Office of Student Services, CAAS faculty, staff and student body.
- Serves as point of contact for this funded research project
- Coordinates project activities on academics, research, extension and outreach events, and training sessions
- Coordinates with CAAS on project financial and budget management, report to project directors on participant reimbursements, purchase orders, and other transactions
- Complies project document for annual performance report
- Contributes to CAAS student recruitment through project activities
- Leads project activities at department, college, and university level for agriculture and natural resource programs
- Other related duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education - B.S. degree in agriculture, education, business, finance, etc. or closely related field
Minimum Experience - Two years' (2) research project experience
Licensees/Certifications - Valid MS driver's license
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of CAAS policies and procedures
- Knowledge of FANH programs
- Knowledge of academic, research, and extension, and outreach project management
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office projects and other databases
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Ability to make independent professional judgments with integrity
- Ability to effectively identify and resolve problems and to maintain strict confidentiality related to sensitive information
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff, students, faculty, administrators, and other stakeholders with limited direct supervision
