As a Technician I Packaging, you will be trusted to the setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing packaging machinery/equipment within the North Manufacturing facility at Fort Worth, Texas. (US).
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
- Perform activities on the packaging line of sterile products to the completion of the product
- Operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes.
- Assist in stacking of sterile product to a stacking pattern.
- Assist in basic inspection as required.
- Completes the batch records and associated documentation.
- Works in an integrated computerized manufacturing environment.
- Assist in removal of sterile products from the line as necessary.
- Assist in assembly line production as required.
- Assist in material handling.
- Tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.
- Tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance program quality, cost, and scheduling.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Work hours: 2nd Shift; Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm
