In this role, a typical day will include:
- Setting up, configuring, installing, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Follow instructions and checklists to operate equipment and mix chemical solutions for use in tests.
- Taking measurements and performing routine biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures.
- Compiling research data, operating records, and reports of test results.
- Controlling stocks of materials and chemical agents
- Performing safety program checks and preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments may be required
- Lifting, pulling, pushing of products may be required in the production manufacturing setting.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 1 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: Rotating Day Shift -from 6:30am – 6:30pm
- Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
