Concrete Foreman – Commercial Concrete

Pay: $29–$35/hour, based on experience
Location: Alamosa, Colorado, 81101, and the surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time | Limited travel

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, approximately 40 – 50 hours/week, overtime as needed

Alcon Construction is looking for an experienced Concrete Foreman who is ready to take ownership of the work, lead a crew, and help build commercial concrete projects throughout the San Luis Valley and surrounding communities.

This isn't just a position for someone who knows concrete. It's an opportunity to lead people, solve problems in the field, and have a direct impact on the quality and success of our projects. You'll work on a variety of commercial concrete projects while staying primarily in the San Luis Valley, with limited travel.

What You'll Do

· Lead and coordinate a concrete crew while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

· Plan daily and weekly work, including layout, forming, rebar, pour preparation, concrete placement, finishing, and crew scheduling.

· Read construction drawings and specifications, calculate concrete quantities, verify elevations and layout, and ensure work is ready before each pour.

· Anticipate field issues, solve problems, and keep work moving while minimizing downtime and rework.

· Train, mentor, and hold crew members accountable while creating a jobsite where people can do their best work.

Projects may include large commercial slabs, structural foundations, slab-on-grade, sidewalks, curb and gutter, civil concrete, and other commercial flatwork.

What You Bring

· 3 years of concrete construction and finishing experience, including experience with multiple phases of concrete work.

· 1 year of supervisory or crew leadership experience. Previous Concrete Foreman experience is strongly preferred.

· Ability to read construction plans, perform layout and material takeoffs, check for square, and verify elevations.

· Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to meet the physical demands of commercial concrete work, including lifting at least 50 lbs.
