Maintenance Handyman

Position Summary
The Handyman is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and facility support to ensure the building and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing,,carpentry, painting, and HVAC support within scope.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and address them promptly.
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Assemble furniture, install fixtures, and make small equipment repairs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and supplies.
• Assist with groundskeeping tasks such as minor landscaping, snow removal, or exterior upkeep.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for projects requiring licensed professionals.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests and support after-hours emergencies when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of handyman, maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
