Duties
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and speed using our POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly
- Prepare Door Dash Orders in a timely fashon
- Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end.
- Upsell products and suggest additional items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure products are well-displayed, properly labeled, and replenished as needed.
- Prepare BROASTER Chicken & Operate Food Preperation Equipment
- Setup, Maintain, & Breakdown Our Hot & Cold Food Bar During Shifts while still providing great customer service to customers checking out
- Assist with inventory management by participating in stocking activities and monitoring product levels to prevent shortages.
- Foster a positive shopping environment through clear communication skills, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred, with familiarity in retail math and basic math skills for cash handling.
- Experience operating a cash register or POS system is essential for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service excellence, are vital for success in this role.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations will enhance your effectiveness.
- Ability to handle cash drawers accurately while maintaining attention to detail during busy periods.
