Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of construction machinery, industrial equipment, and transportation vehicles. Duties

• Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems across various heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, brake repairs, and alignment adjustments to maximize equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals, and electrical/automotive diagnostics tools.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding and hand tools to ensure proper fit and function during repairs or modifications.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
• Assist in heavy lifting operations using cranes or forklifts while adhering to safety protocols.
• Support construction equipment servicing such as excavators, cranes, loaders, forklifts, tractors-trailers, farm machinery, and other industrial machinery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with dealership experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in using schematics, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, bulldozers, and other construction machinery.
• Knowledge of OEM standards for vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
