Tucson, Arizona. We serve approximately 80 active business clients across restaurants, grocery stores,
and contractors — providing personalized, professional financial services in both English and Spanish.

quality work for our clients.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team full-time. This is an in-
office position based in Tucson. You will be responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of small
business clients, maintaining accurate and current books, and delivering timely financial reports each
month. You will work closely with our Senior Accountant, who oversees quality control across all client
files.
This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their client relationships, works independently, and
holds themselves to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
What You Will Do
• Manage a portfolio of small business clients across various industries
• Perform monthly bookkeeping including bank reconciliations, transaction categorization, and
account review
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports including income statements and balance sheets
• Build and maintain client-specific documentation and rules for each account
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in client accounts proactively
• Communicate with clients professionally in both English and Spanish as needed
• Collaborate with the Senior Accountant for quality review and complex client issues
• Support catch-up bookkeeping projects and backlog cleanup as part of onboarding
• Follow firm-wide SOPs and contribute to improving internal processes
What We Are Looking For
Required:
• 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting or multi-client
environment
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online — must be able to work independently without training on the
platform
• Bilingual in English and Spanish — required for client communication
• Strong understanding of month-end close, bank reconciliation, and financial statement
preparation
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet recurring monthly deadlines
• Professional communication skills — written and verbal in both languages
Preferred:
• Experience working with restaurants, contractors, or S-Corporations
• Familiarity with practice management software such as TaxDome
• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification
• Experience with sales tax (TPT) filing in Arizona
• Exposure to payroll processing
Compensation & Schedule
• Salary: $40,000 – $43,000 annually, based on experience
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, in-office
• Location: Tucson, Arizona
