Village at Belmar, Lakewood’s premier senior living community, is seeking a friendly and courteous Concierge to join our front desk team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, and guests, providing a warm welcome and professional assistance. You will answer phones, greet visitors and residents, and ensure that questions and needs are directed promptly to the appropriate team member, helping create a seamless and positive experience for everyone in our community. We have two part time positions available. One working overnight 9pm to 7am Monday through Wednesday. The other working 3pm to 9pm Saturday and Sunday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greets all visitors entering the facility in a courteous, warm, and professional manner
  • Promotes positive image of the community and serves as an ambassador to all visitors
  • Receives all incoming phone calls and directs to the proper resident or staff
  • Receives all mail for the community and residents; sorts and delivers to the appropriate mail location
  • Routinely perform basic typing, filing, and clerical work as requested. Maintains community resident’s rosters and other community information

Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills, preferably with Microsoft windows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed

Pay:

$18.50 to $19.50 an hour, based on experience

Salary : $19 - $20
