Property Management Assistant for the Public Housing Division
Compensation: Wage range is $17.99 per hour - $22.13 per hour ($37,428.49 annually - $46,032.32 annually) *Note: the starting wage for this position will be $17.99 per hour.

POSITION FUNCTION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the Property Manager, this position provides clerical and administrative assistance to assigned AHA-owned and/or managed housing rental properties for a wide variety of property functions including tenant relations and property management, customer service, compliance and eligibility, maintenance requests and general office administrative tasks; maintains tenant files and related documentation; and performs related duties, as assigned.

Any Combination Of Training And Experience That Would Provide The Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Is Qualifying. A Typical Way To Obtain The Required Qualifications Would Be:
- Equivalent to graduation from the twelfth (12th) grade and one (1) year of experience supporting property management, facilities management, or affordable housing programs and activities.
- Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid New Mexico driver's license upon appointment. Must have and maintain an Albuquerque Housing Authority insurable driving record.
Language Requirements:
- Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures and federal documents. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from vendors, contractors, supervisors, co-workers, residents, and city/county agencies.
