The Authorization and Patient Billing Specialist is responsible for securing insurance pre-authorizations, verifying patient eligibility, creating clean insurance claims, and managing patient accounts and collections. This professional ensures the medical facility minimizes claim denials claim denials, protects cash flow, and provides patients with transparent communication regarding their financial responsibilities. Looking for 1-3 years of direct experience in medical billing, prior authorizations, or revenue cycle operations. This position is In office work only, no virtual work available.
The Authorization and Patient Billing Specialist must also be willing to cross-train in all Front Office responsibilities and provide coverage as needed to support daily operations and ensure a positive patient experience. Other duties as assigned.
Benefits: After 90 days completed healthcare benefits are covered in full by employer.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
