What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct of English position at Albright College?
Albright College’s Department of English seeks applications for multiple adjunct faculty positions to teach first-year writing. Successful candidates will teach one or two sections of English 101, the first course in our two-semester first-year composition sequence.
All instructors teaching English 101 at Albright teach a shared curriculum. All course materials, including course syllabus and Canvas shell template, will be provided upon hire.

Required Qualifications:
- MA in English, Rhetoric and Writing Studies, or a closely related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in English, Rhetoric and Writing Studies, or a closely related field; or MFA in creative writing
- Experience with in-person and technologically enhanced teaching
- Evidence of positive contributions to team projects and working environments
