POSITION SUMMARY
Albrecht Insurance & Financial Services, LLC is seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused insurance professional to join our agency.
This position combines customer service, policy servicing, sales, and new-business prospecting. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating by phone, email, and text; following established procedures; and identifying opportunities to help customers protect what matters most.
Success in this role requires initiative, attention to detail, strong computer skills, and a willingness to consistently prospect for new business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional customer service and trusted insurance guidance
- Identify cross-selling opportunities within the agency’s existing customer base
- Prospect for new business by phone, email, and text
- Follow up on pending quotes, applications, endorsements, and underwriting requirements
- Explain coverage options and prepare insurance quotes
- Complete new-business applications accurately using established agency checklists
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer records
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Process policy changes and endorsements accurately
- Assist customers with billing questions and payments
- Identify and address customer concerns, including customers who may be considering leaving the agency
- Report claims and help customers understand the claims process
- Review and complete assigned daily reports and follow-up activities
- Follow agency procedures and carrier requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Pursue additional insurance licenses and industry designations
- Maintain a positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must hold or be willing to obtain an active Florida property and casualty insurance license as a condition of employment
- Previous insurance, sales, or customer-service experience is preferred
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn multiple insurance systems
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound prospecting calls and leaving voicemails
- Ability to communicate with prospects and customers by phone, email, and text
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
- Ability to follow established procedures and complete detailed checklists
- Dependable, coachable, and committed to working as part of a team
