Purpose of Position:
Provide extraordinary customer service and trusted insurance guidance while identifying and creating sales opportunities that support agency growth.
Requirements:
- Florida insurance license
- Strong computer proficiency and professional phone skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow established procedures
Essential Functions:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Cross-sell insurance and products to existing customers
- Prospect for new business
- Complete new business applications accurately using established checklists
- Update and endorse insurance policies
- Follow up on pending endorsements and applications
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments
- Identify dissatisfied customers or those at risk of leaving the agency
- Report and assist with insurance claims
- Review daily reports
- Perform additional duties as assigned or needed
- Maintain a positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude
- Commit to ongoing professional development by pursuing industry designations and additional insurance licensing opportunities.
