What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sword maker - will train position at Albion Swords LLC?
We will train people to be part of a small company making the best production swords in the world. Work areas include grinding, shaping, and polishing metal parts using hand and power equipment; basic wood and leather-working skills; mold making, wax and resin casting; welding, repair and fabrication.
Desirable applicants will:
Possess strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of, and ability to operate, hand and power tools.
Have sharp visual acuity for precision work and performing quality inspections.
Be able to work independently with little supervision while still meeting goals.
Develop thorough knowledge of product line
Be noticeably reliable and responsible on a daily basis, and available to work 10-hour days Mon-Thurs
High school diploma or GED required. This position requires the ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods of time with occasional lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
