Description
Albion College invites applications for the Hunt Seat Instructor/Varsity Coach. This position is responsible for developing and overseeing the hunt seat riding program including teaching lessons, coaching an intercollegiate team, maintaining an appropriate size herd of hunt/dressage horses, and the training and conditioning of horses. In addition, this position will work closely with Admission in recruiting prospective students. This position will assist in the daily operations of the stables and events hosted at the Held Equestrian Center including the recruitment of students. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. Must contribute to a campus climate that emphasizes a commitment to working with individuals and groups from a variety of identities, cultures and backgrounds.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) and USEF competitions required.
- Experience in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) preferred
- Significant experience in multi-discipline riding as well as horse care required
