Description
Albion College invites applications for the Head Coach Cross Country position. The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching and administrating Albion College’s sports team. This includes (but not limited to) film break down, conditioning, technique training, mental preparation, and game plan preparation. This position reports to the Director of Track & Field/Cross Country and includes serving as an Assistant Coach for Track and Field. In addition, the position also works closely with Admissions in recruiting students. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. Must contribute to a campus climate that emphasizes a commitment to working with individuals and groups from a variety of identities, cultures and backgrounds.
FLSA Classification: Salaried / Exempt / Administrative & Instructional (Coaching)Exemption

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3 to 4 years of combined experience as a NCAA athlete or student manager and competitive coach
- Minimum 2 years coaching experience required; NCAA experience preferred
