This role serves as the firm’s primary marketing lead, responsible for shaping marketing strategy, driving key initiatives, and collaborating closely with partners and leadership. As a department of one, this individual will have the opportunity to own the function while also being hands-on in bringing ideas to life—balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. Primary Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and guide integrated marketing strategies aligned with firm priorities, in collaboration with leadership
- Support and advance the vision of firm leadership by bringing forward ideas, opportunities, and recommendations
- Own marketing initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with overall firm goals
- Evaluate effectiveness of marketing efforts and refine approach based on results and evolving priorities
Content & Communications
- Lead and directly contribute to the development and creation of content across channels—including blogs, email campaigns, website content, and social media—in alignment with firm priorities and leadership input
- Write and edit high-quality marketing materials, ensuring a consistent and compelling firm voice
- Translate technical and professional services concepts into clear, engaging communications for a variety of audiences
- Shape messaging and positioning across communications, proposals, and presentations, incorporating feedback and direction from leadership
Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute digital marketing efforts, including email marketing, social media, and website content
- Manage marketing systems and tools, including HubSpot, ensuring effective use and continuous improvement
- Partner with external vendors to guide website updates and enhancements
- Leverage analytics and SEO insights to inform strategy and optimize performance
Business Development & Firm Growth
- Support and advance the firm’s business development efforts, including proposals, pipeline tracking, and follow-up
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to strengthen client and prospect engagement
- Develop and guide marketing-driven events and initiatives that support firm visibility and relationship-building, while also supporting execution as needed
Marketing Operations
- Manage marketing projects and timelines, ensuring initiatives are executed effectively
- Contribute to annual marketing planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Guide sponsorship and community engagement efforts in alignment with firm strategy
- Manage relationships with external partners and consultants, including directing work stepping in to execute deliverables as needed
Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience

- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
- Self-starter who takes initiative and can independently manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow-through
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners
- Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), Google Analytics, and SEO best practices
