- Ensure a consistently positive customer experience by modeling exceptional service behaviors
- Address customer questions, concerns, and escalations promptly and professionally
- Support front-end operations including lanes, self-checkout, service desk, and customer flow
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards are maintained
- Supervise and support cashiers and service clerks during assigned shifts
- Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching of front-end associates
- Provide real-time direction, coverage adjustments, and break/lunch coordination
- Recognize performance and provide constructive feedback to promote accountability
- Support cash office functions, register accountability, and cash-handling procedures
- Assist with opening, closing, and mid-shift cash pulls as assigned
- Monitor shrink prevention practices and ensure policy compliance
- Partner with department leadership to support labor efficiency and service coverage
- Help execute promotions, ad changes, and company initiatives
- Maintain operational logs and required documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous customer service or retail leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills
- Ability to supervise multiple work areas in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
