Asset Protection
- Monitor store activity to identify and prevent theft, fraud, and unsafe behaviors
- Conduct surveillance through floor observation and authorized camera systems
- Accurately document incidents, investigations, and recoveries
- Support inventory control processes to reduce shrink
- Investigate internal and external loss incidents following company procedures
- Complete detailed, timely, and accurate reports
- Preserve evidence and maintain confidentiality during investigations
- Partner with store leadership and law enforcement when appropriate
- Promote a safe environment for customers and associates
- Identify safety hazards and policy violations and report findings to leadership
- Ensure compliance with asset protection policies and procedures
- Maintain professional conduct during all loss prevention activities
- Educate associates on theft prevention, safety awareness, and shrink reduction best practices
- Reinforce company policies related to cash handling, receiving, and merchandise protection
- Serve as a visible deterrent through professional presence and customer engagement
- Prior loss prevention, security, or retail experience preferred
- Strong observation, communication, and report‑writing skills
