Main Responsibilities

• Support the Grocery Manager in directing and overseeing daily grocery department operations, including Frozen, Dairy, and Liquor/Beer
• Provide excellent customer service and professionally respond to customer questions and concerns
• Assist with ordering, receiving, pricing, stocking, and merchandising grocery products
• Supervise, train, and support grocery and front-end team members as assigned
• Open and close the store and ensure proper cash handling and accounting procedures
• Monitor inventory, reduce shrink, and ensure removal of out-of-code products
• Ensure compliance with company policies related to sanitation, safety, security, and loss prevention
• Act as Person in Charge (PIC) and oversee total store operations in the absence of store leadership

Abilities

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, stack, and maneuver grocery products up to approximately 80 lbs.
• Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, ladders, and store equipment
• Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
• Ability to work varied schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work with minimal supervision when acting as Person in Charge

• Must maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Must comply with attendance, grooming, and dress code standards
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive position
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled store environment with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions
