Main Responsibilities
The Governance Practitioner supports the organization's best practices within the governance model, working to ensure compliance and mitigating risk with the third-party organization. The Governance Practitioner is responsible for ensuring compliance and supporting the buying and demand planning functions within Replenishment & Planning.
The position will be based in Boise, Idaho, Clackamas, OR or Denver, CO.
- Oversee governance best practices, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Manages SOPs and documentation to support the governance model.
- Provide coaching to service provider to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Execute governance frameworks to oversee outsourcing activities in both demand planning and replenishment activities.
- Communicate risks associated with outsourcing to leadership.
- Provide training to service provider on governance policies and procedures.
- Manages data and documentation to support governance initiatives.
- Communicate regularly between internal stakeholders and outsourcing partners, escalating any issues or conflicts that arise.
- Execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of third-party relationships and partnerships.
- Collaborates with internal teams to provide training and support on governance best practices and outsourcing management.
- Monitor planned inbound product flow to proactively avoid SLA misses.
- Assist service providers with item life cycle across resets and NICI’s.
- Oversee items exiting the organization as well as new items involving initial forecasts, initial buys, and all new product processes.
- Collaborates with equivalent business partners from the service provider to ensure success.
- Conduct daily meetings with service provider and a weekly recap with internal leaders.
- Continually review forecast information and procurement processes of service providers to ensure successful supply chain operations.
- Assists the manager with managerial duties across demand planning and replenishment, such as tracking performance of service provider Leads and gathering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from the same.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in replenishment, planning, governance, risk management, or vendor management roles preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve issues.
