Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Accuracy & Execution
- Ensure all shelf tags, signage, and pricing are accurate and up to date
- Oversee weekly ad execution, price changes, and promotional sign sets
- Audit pricing to ensure alignment between POS system and shelf/tag pricing
- Quickly resolve pricing discrepancies to maintain customer trust
- File Maintenance Operations
- Maintain and support the store’s pricing and item file systems
- Execute batch updates, price changes, and item maintenance processes
- Ensure all system updates are completed accurately and on schedule
- Troubleshoot file and pricing issues in coordination with support teams
- Signage & Compliance
- Oversee proper sign production, placement, and removal
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local/state pricing laws
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of signage and file maintenance areas
- Verify all promotional displays are signed correctly
- Inventory & Audit Support
- Assist with scanning, audits, and inventory-related processes
- Partner with department managers to ensure item setup and accuracy
- Support shrink reduction through pricing integrity and process adherence
- Team Leadership
- Train, coach, and supervise file maintenance clerks
- Assign and prioritize daily/weekly workloads
- Ensure team accountability, accuracy, and productivity
- Foster a detail-oriented and process-driven work environment
- Store Communication & Support
- Communicate pricing updates, errors, and corrections to store leadership
- Partner with all departments to support promotions and resets
- Act as the subject matter expert for pricing and file systems in the store
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous file maintenance, pricing, or retail operations experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach frequently
- Ability to lift up to 25–40 lbs
- Repetitive tasks including scanning, tagging, and data entry
- Retail grocery setting
- Combination of sales floor, backroom, and office work
- Fast-paced environment with strict deadlines (ad changes, resets)
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
