Albertine Couture Hair Salon is looking for a professional, organized, responsible, and motivated Hair Salon Manager to join our team in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
We are looking for a strong leader who can manage daily salon operations, supervise staff, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to the growth and online visibility of the salon.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily salon operations
Supervise and coordinate braiders, hairstylists, and salon staff
Organize staff schedules and work assignments
Manage appointments and client bookings
Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction
Handle client and staff concerns professionally
Monitor salon supplies and inventory
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment
Prepare basic daily and weekly reports
Support salon promotions and client retention
Manage and respond to online inquiries
Assist with digital marketing
Create, post, and manage content on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms
Help increase the salon's online visibility and attract new clients
REQUIRED SKILLS
Computer Skills – REQUIRED
The candidate must be comfortable using a computer for email, scheduling, appointments, basic documents, reports, internet, and other online business tools.
Social Media Skills – REQUIRED
The candidate must know how to use Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant social media platforms for business purposes.
The candidate must be comfortable creating and posting content, responding to messages, promoting salon services, and maintaining a professional online presence.
Qualifications
Management, supervisory, or team leadership experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good organizational and leadership abilities
Professional, dependable, punctual, and responsible
Ability to supervise and motivate employees
Strong computer skills – REQUIRED
Strong social media skills – REQUIRED
Ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment
Legally authorized to work in the United States
A MAJOR PLUS
Being a licensed hairstylist or cosmetologist would be a major advantage.
Candidates who have professional hairstyling experience and hold a valid hairstylist or cosmetology license are strongly encouraged to apply.
Experience in a hair salon, beauty salon, barbershop, or beauty-related business is also preferred.
