Responsibilities:
- Conduct play therapy sessions with children and teens to treat their cognitive, emotional, and social functioning
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing support and guidance
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to design and implement effective treatment plans
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices and research-based interventions
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field that is elgible for licensure as a MFT, LPCC, LEP, or LCSW.
- Preference given to those who have worked with children but not experience necessary
- Knowledge of evidence-based play therapy and CBT techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children, teens, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must like dogs (5lb yorkie works at the office)
