HVAC Job Coordinator and Logistics

Albers AC & Heating Inc., a leading mechanical contractor based in St. Tammany Parish, is seeking a qualified HVAC Job Coordinator & Logistics specialist to join our reputable team. 

The Job Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks to include providing support to management and field technicians. Assures that all customer commitments are met while providing high level service and top-notch customer experience.

• Address incoming customer requests; prioritize & schedule according to urgency and importance
• Competently address and resolve service-related issues
• Plan, organize and maintain the electronic service board making schedule adjustments as needed.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the operation of the installation department from start to finish, including scheduling, accurately ordering all job materials & equipment, staging, coordinating technicians, managing returns.
• Shipping and receiving all materials and equipment for the company.
• Inventory control includes ordering of all job material and equipment, stockroom, vehicle inventory, maintaining inventory records, assuring accuracy and traceability.
• Processing warranty claims and returns.
• Ensure the day-to-day operations operate efficiently and on time.

 Qualifications:

• HVAC dispatch, logistics or field experience necessary
• Proficient with HVAC service dispatch software
• Previous administrative job experience in a busy, comparable work setting
• Excellent computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills, detailed oriented
• Ability to multi-task and adjust in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team-based environment
• Knowledge of the service area
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass drug and background check

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday with seasonal overtime.  Weekend remote dispatching on a rotating basis will be required.

Salary: $50,000 to $53,000
