What are the responsibilities and job description for the PH NURSE II - PERQUIMANS COUNTY position at Albemarle Regional Health Services?
The Public Health Nurse in this position plans and supports clinic programs primarily in
Perquimans County and occasionally in other counties as assigned. Clinic programs include,
but are not limited to, Child Health, Maternal Health, Adult Health, Adult and Pediatric
Primary Care Clinic, HIV, Family Planning, and Behavioral Health. The Public Health Nurse
may also provide direction to other staff in relation to these services. This position assists in
developing clinic goals, policies, procedures, and guidelines for these programs. Daily and
weekly work is self-planned and coordinated with the team. The Public Health Nurse develops
and adapts plans to meet client and agency goals. This position is based in Perquimans County
but may be asked to cover other counties as needed.
