Mission
To engage high school students or class of 2026 graduates in a division wide project through summer internship program. The program will begin on June 1, 2026, and run for approximately 8 weeks. The program may be extended past the end date based on need and availability.
Required Skills
Interns must have:
Applicants will need to participate in an interview process for consideration for this internship. If selected, interns will need to complete pre-employment requirements including an Employee Data Sheet, I-9 Employment Eligibility Form (this form requires 2 forms of acceptable ID.), Negative TB Screening result, State & Federal Tax Forms, Bank Account information for Direct Deposit, Child Registry & Background Check (age 18 or above). Instructions for completing these requirements will be provided.

Required Skills
Interns must have:
- Basic knowledge of computers; general proficiency of hardware, software and OS.
- Skills necessary to unpack, inventory and configure computers and mobile devices.
- The ability to lift to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks accurately.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and to follow directions.
- Ability to perform quality checks on your own work and the work of other interns.
- Must have effective communication skills.
- Must be willing to work in a team environment.
- Must be willing to work in any school in the division if needed.
- Knowledge of Windows applications or interest in developing such knowledge.
- Must be able to be on time and have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Interns will have the opportunity to investigate a career in the technology industry.
- Interns will work closely with technical staff at various levels within the organization and will perform the same tasks as the technician.
- Interns will develop vitally important skills in today’s business environment, including team-based interaction, the ability to manage outcomes, and the capability to meet deadlines on a large-scale project.
- Interns will sharpen problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Interns will learn computer repair, computer imaging, computer inventory and deployment methods used at enterprise level companies.
- Interns will build some of the skills necessary to succeed in today’s technological workforce.
