Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct patient care under the direction of the attending physician, RN, Lead LPN, or practice coordinator.
- Obtain and accurately record patient's vital signs
- Document components of patient's history
- Communicate with patients, visitors, and staff
- Participate in in-office procedures under supervision
- Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing
- Perform venipuncture to obtain blood for lab testing
- Make prescription call-backs within scope of practice
- Prep patient charts for clinical information
- Maintain inventory of supplies
Requirements include:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous experience in patient care setting (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) State Licensure upon hire
