Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Follows plan of care as documented by occupational therapist to treat patients in Occupational performance areas
- Schedules patients, maintains written and verbal communication regarding patient and departmental concerns, submits accurate billing information within insurance restrictions
- Participates in rotations in all clinical areas
- Participates in teaching, including annual in service to peers
- Participates as a clinical supervisor for OT students
- Supervises OT assistants
- Promotes and contributes to all sanitary and housekeeping policies which are designed to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of all clinic and general staff areas
- Participates in department quality improvement activities
- Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- required
- Acute Care or inpatient rehabilitation experience - preferred
- Written and Verbal communication (High proficiency)
- Board Certification Upon Hire - required
- BLS certified Upon Hire - required
- State licensure/registration Upon Hire - required
