Your expertise will ensure that patients receive competent and compassionate care, whether they are in the hospital, outpatient, or community settings.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this dynamic role, you will:Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments and procedures.Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.Collaborate with the nursing team to create comprehensive Plans of Care.Guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.Minimum QualificationsTo thrive in this role, you should have:A degree from a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate).A current NYS Registered Nurse license.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Previous experience as a PCA or nursing assistant is preferred.A commitment to continuous education and improvement in job performance.Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques.Working ConditionsThis position is based in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and the ability to work weekend nights.
