We're seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. COMPENSATION: The compensation range for this position is $31 to $38/hour. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, education, experience, and qualifications.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate cone beam CT imaging equipment to obtain high quality diagnostic images; review images for quality and accuracy before submission to the provider.
- Collaborate with providers regarding imaging needs and patient concerns.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure radiation safety standards and infection control protocols are followed; Comply with all state and facility regulations related to radiologic procedures.
- Act as a Medical Assistant when need arises, which would consist of preparing patient for exam by recording vitals, symptoms, updating medications, stocking patient areas, etc.
Requirements
- NY State Licensed Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience operating cone beam CT equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and HIPAA compliance
- 1-2 years of Radiologic Tech preferred.
- Proficient computer skills including ability to master the clinic's practice management software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.
