What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids Company Site Leader position at Albany Elementary School?
Position Purpose:
The Albany Elementary Kids Company Site Leader provides leadership and oversight of the Kids Company Program at Albany Elementary. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and administering all daily activities at this site.
Essential Functions:
- Provide a well-organized and smooth functioning Kids Company program at Albany Elementary
- Plan and coordinate developmentally appropriate activities for Albany Kids Company
- Supervise Kids Company program assistants and aides.
- Assist Kids Company Coordinator with overall program planning at sites.
- Maintain necessary records, including important student information and registration materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Equipment:
Uses standard office equipment such as personal computer, copy machine, and telephone.

Qualifications Profile:
- Experience working with youth in a supervisory capacity required.
- Associate’s Degree in child development, education or related field preferred.
Salary and Benefits
- Starting wage: $17.16-$20.66/hour, depending on qualifications and experience
- Benefits include paid holidays, sick time and personal time and cell phone allowance
School Year Hours (MAY VARY) - 27.5 Hours Per Week
Program Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30-8:30 am & 2:00-5:30 pm
Typical Site Leader Schedule:
- Regular School Day Hours: 6:30-8:30 am & 2:00 pm-5:30 pm
- Early Dismissal Day Hours: 6:30-8:30 am & 11:00 am-5:30 pm
- Non-School Day Hours: Hours vary based on staffing/needs (8-10 hours per day).
Summer Hours (MAY VARY) - 30-40 Hours Per Week
Program Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 am-5:30 pm
