Albany Country Club is seeking a responsible, attentive, and friendly Seasonal Lifeguard to join our team. Responsibilities
- Supervise pool activities and maintain a safe environment for all members and guests.
- Enforce pool rules and safety procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide first aid or emergency care as needed.
- Maintain constant awareness of swimmers and pool activity.
- Assist with daily pool operations, including opening and closing procedures and maintaining a clean, organized pool area.
- Provide friendly and professional service to club members and guests.
- Work collaboratively with other seasonal staff and club team members.
Qualifications
- Current lifeguard certification required.

Requirements
- Proven lifeguard experience with current (within one year) certification in First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently and efficiently
- Knowledge of public safety procedures, water rescue response techniques, and first aid protocols
- Strong observation and communication skills.
- Responsible, dependable, and able to remain attentive throughout each shift.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a family-oriented, member-focused environment.
