Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Principal Faculty member located in Albany, NY. The Principal Faculty will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, developing and revising curriculum, participating in academic committees, and collaborating with other faculty and staff. Teaching responsibilities include providing engaging and informative lectures in multiple areas of study including clinical medicine as well as teaching physical exam, providing problem-based-learning and grading written assignments.
Qualifications
- PA or MD with at least 5 years of clinical practice experience
- Strong teaching and mentoring skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong technology skills
- Experience with PA education and practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty and staff
- Previous academic or clinical teaching experience is a plus
- Commitment to contributing to the academic and service missions of the institution
