Position Summary
The Director of Assessment serves as the School of Pharmacy’s chief assessment & accreditation officer to ensure compliance with accreditation quality standards. They will have oversight of the development, management and execution of the School’s Assessment plan in accordance with the School’s Strategic Plan and accreditation quality standards. They will report directly to the Dean of the School of Pharmacy.

They will have oversight of the development, management and execution of the School’s Assessment plan in accordance with the School’s Strategic Plan and accreditation quality standards. They will report directly to the Dean of the School of Pharmacy.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Serves as the School of Pharmacy’s chief assessment & accreditation officer to ensure compliance with accreditation quality standards.
- Provide a vision, strategy, and delivery of the school’s assessment activities in collaboration with the College’s assessment program, working closely with the school’s administration to;
- Design, develop, implement, and monitor the assessment plan.
- Identify and act on curriculum and assessment issues that are likely to require monitoring, study, decision and/or action.
- Examine and distribute the results from AACP curriculum quality surveys and other recurring assessments.
- Works closely with those engaged in data-management data-repository, and dashboarding to ensure the transparent and accessible flow of relevant information to relevant stakeholders.
- Conducts evidence-based best practices research by utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods to propose or expand assessment strategies for course and program outcomes.
- Develops a program of curricular and assessment scholarship that aims to achieve national recognition.
- This position will be a 1.0 FTE with a minimum of 40% of time dedicated to this administrative appointment and the remainder dedicated to a faculty appointment in the selected candidate’s discipline.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of accreditation standards as put forth by the Accreditation Council on Pharmacy Education.
- Precision in working with assessment databases, linking data from a variety of sources (ie., ExamSoft, LMS, CORE, etc.).
- Strategic thinking to address assessment findings and excellent communication skills to work with the appropriate constituents to assure loop closure on said findings.

- Terminal degree of not less than PharmD, EdD, and/or PhD
- Minimum 2-5 years of significant assessment experience as a director of assessment and/or leadership in assessment within a school or college of pharmacy
Salary : $113,097 - $130,181
