NOW HIRING: Marketing Coordinator
Status: Full-time, salary, exempt
Location: Albany, NY (On-Site)
Schedule: 40 hours per week;Tuesday – Saturday, 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Compensation: $40,000 - $42,000, commensurate of experience

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who shares that passion and is ready to implement marketing efforts and detailed communications through an accessible, engaging, exciting, and explanatory lens. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.
Role Description
This individual will work closely with the Director of Development and relevant staff to create, plan, and execute content for social media and digital newsletters. They will also assist with website maintenance, communications, design, and as needed photography and mission-based events.

Qualifications
● Minimum: 1-3 years of relevant marketing and communications experience required, preferably with a nonprofit and/or arts organization
● Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
● Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Meta Business Suite
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, & Excel) and Google Drive Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc)
● Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign, specifically) required, proficiency preferred.
● Amateur photography skills are preferred.
● Proficiency in Canva is a plus
● Experience with mass email marketing/campaign platform, specifically MailChimp, is a plus
● Experience with website editing, like Wordpress, is a plus
