Responsibilities
- Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to dining tables, ensuring presentation and temperature are maintained
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to expedite orders efficiently, prioritizing timely service
- Assist in organizing and clearing tables by bussing dishes and resetting stations quickly and courteously
- Communicate clearly with servers, chefs, and management to relay special requests or modifications
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the service process
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under supervision
- Monitor order flow during busy periods to prevent delays and ensure smooth service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards required
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move swiftly throughout the restaurant area
